About Megan

Megan is a magna cum laude graduate from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Science Degree in animal science with an emphasis of livestock business management. She is currently a graduate student at California State University, Fresno working to receive her Master of Science degree in criminology as well as a certification in victimology.
A fun fact about Megan is that she has wanted to compete in the Miss America Organization since she was a little girl. After Miss America 2.0 was established, she knew that she could not let time pass her by any longer and decided to compete. Megan has already been awarded $1,250 in scholarships through the organization and she hopes to be able to earn more scholarships in the future to support her college education.
Megan’s social impact initiative, “United We’re Stronger,” aims to advocate for the mental health of veterans through showing support, being an advocate, and ending the negative stigmas surrounding mental health. Megan chose her initiative on behalf of her grandfather who is buried at Arlington National Cemetery. This year, she aims to establish connections in her community and within the state of California.
